International Services And Governing Law

This website, and some services provided by Hay Counselling (such as video counselling), can be accessed from most countries around the world. However the website is written, designed and administered from offices located in the UK, and all services are delivered from the UK. By accessing this website or purchasing any service from Hay Counselling, you agree that the statutes and laws of the UK (England and Wales) will apply to all matters relating to the use of www.haycounselling.co.uk, and any services purchased from Hay Counselling.

Sarah Hamilton is trained and fully accredited as a psychotherapist and counsellor in the UK. Varying international therapy licensing laws mean Sarah may not meet local requirements to practise as a psychotherapist/counsellor in all countries. If you are based outside the UK and wish to book sessions with Sarah, you therefore agree that you are either specifically seeking a UK-accredited therapist practising under UK (English and Welsh) law, or that you are happy to work together on the basis of receiving “Psychological Guidance Services” from a British-trained professional. You understand that it is your personal responsibility to seek locally-licensed clinical support if this is what you, your medical doctors, or your health insurers require.
