Effective Psychotherapy & Counselling for Adults and Teens,
“I would never be at the place I am now if it were not for Sarah and our sessions.”
Think You Might Need To Talk To Someone?
I provide a safe, supportive space for adults and teens where you can explore your distress, worries and feelings without being judged. I help people:
- Learn who they are and find the courage to live richly and fully
- Overcome anxiety, depression and trauma
- Transform anger and low self-esteem
- Improve relationships
- Deal with bereavement, divorce, and other difficult life-events
You may think your problems are so BIG, or your situation so impossible, that nothing will help. But there is a way through. In my work I’ve seen that everyone has the capacity to get ‘un-stuck’, no matter how difficult a place they may be in.

Making Change Possible – For Adults And Teens
People look for different things from psychotherapy and counselling. Perhaps you’re seeking an open space to figure out who you are, and what you want from life. Or maybe you’re wanting more practical support, for a specific issue.
I provide in-depth psychotherapy and short-term counselling for adults of all ages (there’s no upper age limit), and for teenagers from age 13 upwards.
I understand that talking about your most sensitive problems can feel daunting, even risky. But I’ve helped people find their way through a very wide range of difficulties. I am particularly experienced at working with stress, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, depression, anger, relationship and family issues, low self-confidence, personality disorders, Aspergers, and work-related issues.

Will Psychotherapy Or Counselling Really Help?
The talking therapies have an excellent overall success rate. Research shows that on average, 80% of people who undertake counselling at times of stress feel better than those who don’t. But the process is basically a conversation, a human interaction – and that means it’s hugely affected by how well the people ‘fit’ together. So to have the best chance of success, the most important thing is to find a psychotherapist or counsellor you feel comfortable with.

I am an experienced and fully accredited Psychotherapist and Counsellor. I’ve worked with adults and young people in the private and charitable sectors, and in the NHS. I provide both in-depth psychotherapy and short-term counselling. When we talk, we will meet whatever you’re facing with patience, courage, and kindness. Together we can make sense of where you are, and find the best way for you to move forwards in your life.
