Hay Counselling | Sarah Hamilton
The Boardroom, Broad Street, Hay-on-Wye, Hereford HR3 5DB
Within Easy Reach of Hereford, Brecon, Builth Wells, Kington and Leominster
The Hay Counselling office is a calm, quiet space, on the outskirts of the shopping area in Hay-on-Wye. It’s discreetly located above the ‘Health Matters’ complementary health clinic.
The location is well connected to towns and villages throughout the area including Brecon, Bronllys, Builth Wells, Crickhowell, Eardisley, Glasbury, Hereford, Kington, Leominster, Lyonshall, Old Radnor, Peterchurch, Presteigne, Talgarth, and Weobley.
Finding The Hay Counselling Office
Standing by the clock tower in Broad Street you will see the Granary Cafe on the corner. A couple of doors down is a large pink building, and after that is the ‘Health Matters’ complementary health clinic. The black door for “The Boardroom”, where Hay Counselling is located, is just here.
There are a number of free parking spaces very close to the Hay Counselling office, some directly outside on Broad Street, and more just a few yards away near the Clock Tower. They all allow parking for up to one hour. There is also a small free car park about three minutes’ walk away, by the river on Wyeford Road.
Pay-and-display car parks can be found two minutes’ walk away in the market square on Castle Street (except Thursdays, which is market day), and five minutes’ walk away in the main Hay-on-Wye Visitors Car Park on Oxford Road.
Access / Facilities
The Hay Counselling office is situated up one flight of stairs. There is a waiting area on the ground floor belonging to the ‘Health Matters’ complementary health clinic, which can be used by Hay Counselling clients when Health Matters is open. At other times you will need to arrive at your exact appointment time.
Please note there is very limited access to bathroom facilities on site for clients. However there are public toilets next to the nearby Clock Tower and at the main Hay-on-Wye Visitors Centre (both of which take a 20p coin). There are also several cafes nearby, with facilities for customers.
I offer online video sessions, by Skype, for those who can’t make it to the Hay Counselling offices. Maybe you live outside of the area; or perhaps you’re simply snowed in one day. Either way, as long as you have a fast, reliable internet connection, online video sessions can be a really practical way to ensure you still get the support you need. Skype video is extremely technically secure, so your sessions remain totally confidential. If you’re interested in Skype sessions, just let me know when you contact me.
Make an appointment
I offer both face-to-face and Skype sessions on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. I can also offer additional Skype sessions on Mondays.
To book an appointment – or just to ask a general question – you can call, email, or fill in the form on this page. All communications are private, secure, and completely confidential.
