Therapy For Residents of Glasbury

Are You Looking For Therapy Near You?

Counselling and Psychotherapy, Hay-on-Wye, Hereford, Brecon, Builth Wells, Kington, Presteigne, Talgarth

Have you been trying to feel better, but you can’t seem to make much headway on your own?

Maybe things look fine on the outside, but underneath you’re struggling to cope.

Talking about things with a professional therapist can help you contain and resolve difficult feelings, understand where you are, and find your unique path forwards.

Getting The Help You Really Need

My name is Sarah Hamilton. I work with adults of all ages (there is no upper age-limit in therapy). I specialise in helping people find relief from trauma, including PTSD and developmental trauma. And I have particular expertise working with those on the autistic spectrum, and adults who went to boarding school.

In my experience, truly effective therapy is about more than just support and advice. That’s an important part of it, of course. But the path to real change also involves wise curiosity, careful challenge, and courage. Often, it’s the unexpected questions or the overlooked details which provide the key to change.

This is, always, a joint endeavour. It will require your active engagement, and my full attention.

I don’t know in advance where our conversations will take us. But I do know that wherever you find yourself now, whatever your story, every part of you will be welcome in our sessions.

Take The Next Step…

Contact me if you’d like to:

  • Overcome trauma, and find their way to peace and healing
  • Find relief from depression and anxiety
  • Navigate divorce, bereavement, and other challenging life experiences
  • Transform anger and low self-esteem
  • Find courage, stability and resilience

I would never be at the place I am now if it were not for Sarah and our sessions.”
