Am I The Right Psychotherapist Or Counsellor For You?
The talking therapies have an excellent overall success rate. Research shows that on average, 80% of people who undertake counselling at times of stress feel better than those who don’t.
But the process is basically a conversation, a human interaction – and that means it’s hugely affected by how well the people ‘fit’ together.
So, to have the best chance of success, the most important thing is to find a psychotherapist or counsellor you feel comfortable with.
“Sarah tailored her approach perfectly to me and my situation – empathic, constructive, thought-provoking. Today, I feel mentally stronger, physically calmer, and altogether much more positive and confident.”

Professional, Effective Psychotherapy And Counselling
Truly effective therapy is about more than just support and advice. That's an important part of it, of course. But achieving real change also involves wise curiosity, careful challenge, and courage.
This is, necessarily, a joint endeavour. It requires your active engagement, and my full attention.
Working together, we can begin to untangle the stuck places, and find your unique path forwards. I can't tell in advance where that process will take us. But I do know that whatever your story, wherever you find yourself in life, every part of you will be welcome in our sessions.
You can find out more about how I work, and what to expect in a session with me, here.
