Think You Might Need To Talk To Someone?
Welcome. My name is Sarah Hamilton. I am an experienced and fully accredited psychotherapist and counsellor, working from my clinic in Hay-on-Wye (Herefordshire), and also by secure online video. I offer one-to-one sessions for adults from 18 upwards, helping people:
- Learn who they are and find the courage to live richly and fully
- Transform anger and low self-esteem
- Find relief from anxiety and depression
- Overcome trauma, and find peace and healing
- Navigate bereavement, divorce, and other difficult life experiences
“I would never be at the place I am now if it were not for Sarah and our sessions.”

Finding The Right Psychotherapist Or Counsellor
The talking therapies have an excellent overall success rate. Research shows that on average, 80% of people who undertake counselling at times of stress feel better than those who don’t.
But the process is basically a conversation, a human interaction – and that means it’s hugely affected by how well the people ‘fit’ together.
So, to have the best chance of success, the most important thing is to find a psychotherapist or counsellor you feel comfortable with.
“Sarah tailored her approach perfectly to me and my situation – empathic, constructive, thought-provoking. Today, I feel mentally stronger, physically calmer, and altogether much more positive and confident.”
