Therapy For Residents of Peterchurch
Are You Looking For A Therapist Near You?

Have you been trying to find ways to feel better, but you can’t seem to make much headway on your own?
Maybe things look OK on the outside, but under the surface you’re struggling to cope.
Talking things through with a professional therapist can help you contain and resolve difficult feelings, understand where you are, and find your unique path forwards.
Getting The Help You Really Need
My name is Sarah Hamilton. I specialise in helping people resolve issues related to trauma, including developmental trauma and PTSD. I work with adults of all ages (there is no upper age-limit in therapy for achieving change). And I have particular expertise in supporting those on the autistic spectrum, and adults who went to boarding school.
In my experience, truly effective therapy is about more than just support and advice. Of course, that’s an important part of it. But the path to real change also involves careful challenge, wise curiosity, and courage. Often, it’s the unexpected questions or the overlooked details which provide the key to change.
This is, necessarily, a joint endeavour. It will require your active engagement, and my full attention.
I don’t know in advance where our conversations will go. But I do know that wherever you find yourself now, whatever your story, every part of you will be welcome in our sessions.
